Monte Do Ramalho

Monte do Ramalho is a traditional Alentejo farm located a 7-minute drive from the medieval village of Avis. This pet-friendly property offers a biological pool a 10-minute drive from Maranhão Dam.

Offering a traditional Alentejo décor, all Monte’s units feature sloped ceilings with exposed wooden beams. The living room comes with cable TV, DVD player and an iPod/iPhone docking station.

Guests can prepare their meals in the fully equipped kitchens or head to Avis and enjoy typical regional cuisine in one of the restaurants. There is a barbecue area next to the biological pool, as well as a covered seating area.

Guests can take one of the bicycles to explore the 1000 hectares of the property and ask for a canoe and sail away in dam, still located within the property. Located 100 metres from the houses, there is a games room with pool, foosball and board games. There is also a chapel here for quieter moments.

The city of Estremoz, with its demarked wine region, castle and historical sites, is 33 km away. Monte do Ramalho is a 2-hour drive away from Lisbon.
