The highest point is Dead Woman's Pass (Warmiwanusqa) at 4,215 metres. Physical preparation matters. The trail involves steep ascents and descents on uneven stone steps at altitude. Most reasonably fit travellers complete it without difficulty, but knee strain on day-three descents is common. Trekking poles are strongly recommended.
