My beautiful apartment, in the heart of Lisbon, is part of the São Jorges’ Castle history – it is located in the Villa built for the castle workers to live in, back in the 1940s’, when the restoration interventions of the Castle took place. It is now a refreshed stylish and comfortable place to stay uphill, right by the Castle, with great transport links - 2 minutes away from the closest bus station and 10 minutes away walking uphill from the subway stations of Rossio and Martim Moniz. To access to the apartment you will find two free lifts that can help climbing (Elevador do Castelo – Rua dos Fanqueiros and Elevador do Chão do Loureiro) and an escalator in Martim Moniz, then you will find some stairs that you need to climb. Explore the traditional neighborhood of Mouraria and enjoy this unique part of Lisbon that is one of the historical districts with greater tradition and history and the place of birth of the Portuguese traditional music genre of Fado.
