What happens after I complete a booking on Trip1?

What happens step by step
Step 1 - Payment verification
After you send crypto from your wallet, CoinGate (Trip1's payment provider) waits for the transaction to be confirmed on the blockchain. This typically takes a few minutes, but can vary by network. Lightning Network and Layer 2 transactions are usually the fastest.
Step 2 - Booking confirmation
Once the payment is verified, Trip1 confirms your reservation with the hotel. Your booking is now live in the hotel's system, just like any other reservation.
Step 3 - Confirmation email
Trip1 sends a confirmation email to the address you provided at checkout. This email includes your booking reference number, hotel name, address, and contact details, check-in and check-out dates, room type and guest name, cancellation policy, and your booking voucher.
Step 4 - Check in at the hotel
On your travel date, show your booking voucher at the hotel front desk. The hotel already has your reservation in their system. You may need to present a valid ID that matches the guest name on the booking.
Important: If you don't receive a confirmation email within 30 minutes of payment, check your spam folder first. If it's not there, contact Trip1 support with your transaction hash or booking reference.
